Theresa Schweingruber

Theresa's training through Drexel University, under the direction of Jennifer Morley, has
prepared her to teach students of all levels in mat classes and on the Pilates equipment.

As a dancer since the age of 4, she initially became interested in Pilates as a reliable cross-training practice to support her dance endeavors. Her genuine love for movement and the mind-body connection only enhanced her experiences with Pilates, both as a teacherand practitioner.

She hopes to share her practice and understanding with others who are also looking for support through cross-training.

Nicole Long


Nicole is a classically trained and fully certified Pilates Instructor who completed her training at Equinox in New York City. She has been teaching mat classes since 2015 and is thrilled to share her love for Pilates with her new community of Philadelphians!
Nicole found her love for Pilates after an injury put a halt to her running and typical gym workout. Pilates is low impact and can be modified for all injuries, weaknesses, and inflexibilities. She loved the notion of Pilates being for everybody’s, every body! Nicole teaches her classes with flow from start to finish and believes each class or session needs to be a full body workout!

Marisa Illingworth

Marisa started her journey at Thrive as a work/study student, and from the first day fell in love with the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the studio. She was drawn to Pilates because of its ability to deeply and uniformly challenge the whole body at once, while prioritizing safety, stability, and the overall health of the body. She felt it perfectly complimented her dance career as a way to gain strength and heal her back after suffering from a slipped disc. Marisa is certified from Drexel Pilates under the direction of Jennifer Morley, a 450 hour program including mat, mixed equipment, and reformer. In addition to practicing and teaching Pilates, she is a freelance dancer in Philly and a graduate from The University of the Arts with a BFA in Dance. She is so excited to challenge students to be their best selves, and couldn't be more honored to join the team of incredible teachers at Thrive!
